Do More
Because I am a Girl is Plan’s campaign to fight gender inequality, promote girls' rights and lift millions of girls out of poverty. Girls around the world are heavily affected by a wide range of issues that Plan works with including poverty, education, health, and the environment. Girls are more often than not discriminated against and denied many of their basic human rights. With this campaign, we can help girls around the world climb to the top of the social ladder!

- Advocate
- There are an estimate 60 million child brides worldwide. Some as young as 7! 100 million more are expected to be married in the next 10 years. But right now our members of Congress have the opportunity to do something to protect these innocent children. A new bill would give the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) more power to work with countries around the world to fight child marriage – but its up to us to make sure it passes. Taking action has never been easier! Sign the online petition to send a letter to your congressmen, and then send it to your friends!
