Omnicom is very committed to spreading awareness about girls’ and women’s issues such as malnutrition, early marriage, lack of education, financial insecurity and exploitation. Through its generous contribution to support Plan International’s Because I am
a Girl
initiative, Omnicom is helping to ensure the promise and
potential of present and future generations.

Hobsons and Plan have worked together for 7 years to build schools in Vietnam, Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya and Bolivia for children living in marginalized communities. Together we have created educational opportunities for thousands of children. Most recently, Hobsons
traveled to the Dominican Republic to meet with Plan field staff, visit
the construction sites of schools that they are funding and meet with
the communities' children, who are the beneficiaries of their
fundraising efforts.

Citibank and Plan are currently working together on two financial education projects. The Citi School Bank Project in Thailand provides hands-on financial education through school banking systems run by children ages 10-18. The Citi-Plan Urban Youth Financial Education Program in Indonesia
introduces financial education in five schools for 3,300 youth, primarily girls
ages 16-20, and supports student-run companies to promote
entrepreneurial development.

Intel Corporation and Plan are working on addressing poverty, illiteracy and disempowerment of women in Haiti. The partnership focuses on arming
vulnerable women and their families with financial services training and
literacy training to ensure household economic stability.

Target, as part of its continued focus on education, has partnered with Plan International USA on four projects: Promoting Early Childhood Reading in Vietnam; Supporting Primary School Libraries in Indonesia; Training Teachers in Early Childhood and Development Centers and Primary Schools in China; and Enhancing Community Schools for Children who Dropped Out in Egypt.

KPMG, through its Global Development Initiative, is partnering with Plan to invigorate worldwide efforts to promote gender equality and empower women through the Because I am a Girl (BIAAG) campaign. In addition to working to ensure the success of the Global BIAAG Launch event in October 2012,
KPMG is publishing an “Issues Monitor” on Bridging the Gender Gap: Tackling Women’s Inequality.

Marsh & McLennan Companies has mobilized its global employee base in support of Because I am a Girl, Plan’s initiative to lift 4 million girls out of poverty by 2015. Through employee fundraising campaigns and corporate donations, Marsh & McLennan Companies has made significant financial contributions since its partnership with Plan began. These funds go towards supporting girls in developing countries,
providing them with access to clean water, health care, disaster relief
and education. Additionally Marsh & McLennan Companies has provided
pro bono services to the organization.

PepsiCo is dedicated to advancing girls’ and women’s empowerment through
its endorsement and support of Plan USA’s global Because I am a Girl campaign. PepsiCo's contribution will help Plan to enact gender awareness programs for both girls and boys and make quantifiable policy changes to
benefit girls around the world.

Alex and Ani and Plan are partnering on the Because I am a Girl initiative, which seeks to lift four million girls out of poverty by 2015.  Through this cause-related marketing collaboration, 20% of all sales of the Because I am a Girl Patented Expandable Wire Bangle is donated to the initiative.

Ramada Maingate - At The Park currently funds an education project for children in Indonesia. This initiative will support Plan's Learn Without Fear campaign to reduce the incidence of and prevent bullying and violence in 40 targeted schools. To encourage their guests to
contribute, Ramada Maingate - At The Park matches each dollar donated
to this project. 

Hilton Worldwide, with is global reach in 91 countries, recognizes the importance of investing in the livelihood of girls through sustainable development projects. Through its contribution to Plan’s Because I am a Girl general fund, Hilton Worldwide has become a key partner in Plan’s
effort to break down barriers for girls and lift them out of poverty.

Dansko has been a supporter of Because I am a Girl awareness-building
efforts nationwide. Most recently, Dansko provided in-kind support for the
launch of one of our latest marketing campaigns for Because I Am A Girl,
helping us build momentum and mobilize communities nationwide.

Dole has partnered with Plan International USA to help support its marquee Because I am a Girl projects. These eight projects in Sierra Leone, Vietnam, Nepal, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, El Salvador, and Burkina Faso comprise the core of Plan’s efforts to lift 4 million girls out of poverty over the next three years.

Re-marks, through its partnership with Plan, is supporting the Because I am a Girl initiative by sponsoring marginalized girls, as well as by contributing to Plan's Because I am a Girl general fund. This fund supports all of our Because I am a Girl projects in 8 countries and across 3 continents.
