Let the kids give
June 18, 2007
Working with Plan USA in a unique collaboration, KidsGive LLC is putting the power to change the world into the hands of children. With the launch of a new line of international dolls and accessories KidsGive will let the children decide which cause their purchase will support.
With every purchase of a Karito Kids product, children can visit the KaritoKids.com website and direct a portion of the retail price to one of four issues impacting children. KidsGive will make the donations to Plan USA on the child’s behalf, and Plan USA will provide annual updates for posting to KaritoKids.com showing how the donations are helping other children around the world.
The Karito Kids product line features ethnically accurate dolls and accompanying storybooks that are designed to give children an appreciation for different cultures. The dolls, books and accessories highlight the beauty of each ethnic group and depict modern-day life in each country and culture, showing children the similarities shared by children around the world.
Expand your child’s cultural experience
Fostering cultural understanding is one of the goals of Plan USA’s child sponsorship program. Every sponsor receives a welcome packet full of information about their child’s country, culture, religion and community, as well as tips for writing their first letter to their sponsored child. Our enewsletter, website and annual updates provide more information to help our sponsors build a relationship with their sponsored child and see how their sponsorship contributions are making a difference.
Many sponsors tell us that exchanging letters and pictures with their sponsored child is a wonderful experience for their entire family. Imagine sharing with your child, the joy of learning that your sponsorship contribution has made it possible to send a child to school, provide her family with clean water, or the opportunity to receive much needed medical care. Imagine the bond your child will build as she exchanges letters and pictures with a child thousands of miles away. Learn more about child sponsorship today.
