Plan Paraguay making history
Plan Paraguay has been appointed to be the civil society representative at the National Council of Children and Adolescence of Paraguay.
The Council represents the most important area in the government to develop public national policies for children; it also supervises programs and plans across the country.
Plan Paraguay's Children's Rights Advisor Néstor Vera (pictured right, with the Minister of Childhood and Adolesence) will represent Plan at the Council.
Plan Paraguay's Rosanna Menchaca said: "This recognition is the result of the process to advocate for children’s rights, with the strategic vision of a highly qualified team.
"This is a historic step for Plan Paraguay, that raises our profile as an institution contributing to build a better society where children and adolescents can develop their full potential."
