Trivia Question

What Plan country has more biodiversity per square kilometer than any other nation in the world?

Letter from the Editor

Thank you to everyone who hosted a Because I am a Girl House Party last month! We hope you and your guests had a great time celebrating girls and raising funds to support Because I am a Girl projects around the world.

We at Plan enjoyed an evening of fun at our own party, which was filled with delicious international recipes, a pink cake, AND dogs wearing Because I am a Girl t-shirts (check out our Facebook page – it really happened!)

Again, thank you for your continued and generous support. We couldn't do all of the work that we do without you!

Honor Dad by Giving Differently

By giving a Gift of Hope this Father’s Day, you can help break the cycle of poverty for children and their families around the world. Just imagine that for the price of a tie or a bottle of cologne, you can help plant a family garden or give a family access to clean water. There are so many ways to give differently and you can see them all right here!

Order your gift by June 16th and we’ll also send a personalized e-card directly to your recipient’s inbox! What better way to honor all the dads in your life than with a Gift of Hope? Shop Gifts of Hope for Father's Day!

Plan staff go the extra mile for girls

On June 24th, our very own CEO Tessie, along with Chief Information Officer Chip and Board Liaison/Special Assistant Kate, will participate in the "Oh My Goddard Triathlon" in East Greenwich, RI to help raise awareness for Because I am a Girl. You can help support them as they support girls around the world through their Crowdrise fundraising page. Stay tuned for more fun photos and be sure to cheer them on with some encouraging words! Go team!
