Every day, children as young as nine are abducted or taken under false pretenses from their villages by child traffickers. These girls and boys are promised good jobs and good pay, but they end up working in brothels, mines and sweat shops.

In Nepal, child trafficking is a huge problem. Every year, a staggering 7,000 to 10,000 Nepalese children are trafficked. Right now, more than 200,000 Nepalese girls are believed to be victims of the “trade” across the border.

There is real hope in the fight against the buying and selling of our children, and Plan is leading the way.

• $50 can help provide a returned victim or an at-risk boy or girl training in a variety of marketable skills.
• $70 helps provide 70 chickens for one girl or boy to start their own business.
• $293 will help provide a vulnerable girl a sewing machine, accessories and tailoring training to help start a new business and a new life.
