• Fund a Project
  You can make a powerful investment by contributing to a project in a specific country, periodically or through a one-time contribution, and make a lasting impact on a child and family in need. Whether it is for clean water programs in Ecuador, AIDS orphans in Uganda, or home repair and construction in India, we can match your giving choice to an existing need. We will send you comprehensive reports and photographs so you know your funds are making a difference.
  
  In 2006, for instance, Hobsons Worldwide (a leading company in student recruitment marketing and management) worked with Plan to improve the learning environment at Dagoretti Muslim Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya. Read more about the Hobsons and Plan partnership to improve a school.



• Sponsor a Child
  This is our most personalized program and offers the opportunity to build a relationship with an individual child. Through sponsorship, we encourage sponsors to build relationships with the children they are helping. This is a great option for those corporations who want staff to "see" their involvement and for those looking for more of a personal approach. Child sponsorship is available in 43 countries and the cost is $24 per month or $288 per year for a child.



• Donate to Plan’s Children’s Fund
  Natural disasters, and the chaotic effects of political instability cannot be predicted. Plan is ready to meet the needs of children during and after these times of distress. Contributions to our Children’s Fund are allocated to the areas of greatest need at any given time.



• Make a Matching Gift
  When you match gifts from your employees, you show them you care about their interests. Read more about our matching gifts program.



• Create an Endowed Sponsorship
  Through this simple yet valuable program, your company can become a Plan USA sponsor and supporter for life. A Plan USA Endowed Sponsorship is a way you can guarantee, with a single, tax-deductible gift of $7,500, the sponsorship support of a needy child and family in perpetuity. When you choose to create an Endowed Sponsorship, you are fully funding your sponsorship permanently. When that child graduates, a new child will be selected for sponsorship in your name. This gift is fully tax deductible as allowed by law, and any unused portion of the income tax deduction can be carried over for up to the next five years.



• Encourage Workplace Giving
  Keeping your staff aware of the company's charitable endeavors is a great way to boost morale and set a positive example. Offer your staff the opportunity to become Plan USA sponsors and recognize them for it. It's important to acknowledge the charitable efforts of those working for you. We can work with you to establish individual or group sponsorships.



• Provide Pro Bono Services and Gifts-in-Kind
  Your company can support us by offering services or products free of charge or at a discounted rate. Of particular value are legal services, public relations, skills training, awareness raising activities and event support (venue, catering, entertainment, etc).



• Benefit from Marketing/Licensing Agreements
  Our logo on your product can provide significant competitor advantage. This partnership can help reach your organization's social responsibility objectives, while promoting sales for your product or service.



• Start a Staff /Company Fundraiser
  Staff fundraising activities create a sense of common goals and shared pride, which is great for morale and team spirit. It can also generate goodwill with your customers, suppliers and the local community. We have the expertise to maximize the benefits of staff fundraising for your organization.



• Donate Stock
  Many Plan USA supporters choose to make gifts of appreciated stocks or mutual funds because of the associated tax advantages. When giving securities that have increased in value and have been owned long enough to qualify as long-term property, you are generally entitled to a federal income tax deduction based on the current fair market value of the security. In addition, when donating securities that have increased in value, you do not have to pay capital gains tax. Consult with your tax advisor or financial planner before making a gift of appreciated securities to determine how the potential benefits may apply to your particular situation.
