How the Virtual Visit works:

Roll over the icons to see where you can "Visit a Village"
Click on the village icon you want to visit!
To zoom in or out of the map, use the numbered scale in the orange legend
To move around the map, zoom in to any level above 1 and either use the directional arrows, or simply click on the map and hold your mouse button down as you move around

What is the Virtual Visit?
The Virtual Visit is an online experience that provides a direct, engaging and real opportunity for sponsors, donors, educators and youth to see what life is like in communities where Plan works. For the youth increasingly responsible for the creation of the Virtual Visits, the experience also provides the opportunity to learn, use and share new skills.

Created by youth. Think about this. “Created by youth” means that more and more of the videos, photos and other individual attributes of each Virtual Visit have been identified, directed, filmed, produced and edited by the children and youth — not by their parents, not by their teachers, not by Plan. The youth are given their chance to voice to the world how they see their communities — to share their lives with other people across the world.

The Virtual Visit gives everyone a chance to visit a community, and experience life outside the US, through the eyes of those whom Plan cares most about — the children and youth.
