Sponsor a Child

When you sponsor a child, you will receive a Sponsorship Guide full of information about your sponsored child and the child sponsorship program.

Your contributions are combined with those of other Plan sponsors to support community-based programs that bring better health care and education, cleaner water, safer homes, and more to children in need in the country where your child lives. The ongoing commitment of child sponsorship allows a steady stream of funds that Plan can effectively allocate to ensure community development and help children and families break the painful cycle of poverty.

Your sponsorship connects you with a child and family in a developing country, while your ongoing sponsorship contributions make possible life-changing programs for children, their families and communities. That little girl or boy becomes your ambassador to a place and culture you might otherwise never know. Through letters and pictures you’ll get to know your sponsored child and be a part of her or his life.
