How will I know that my sponsored child has received my gift?
You should receive an acknowledgement letter from your sponsored child indicating the gift he or she has received. Gifts, however, can take 12 to 18 weeks to reach your sponsored child. The long timeframe accounts for the time spent for processing the gifts in our office, shipping to the field, logging of the gift, and personal delivery to your sponsored child.

Can I purchase/send a T-Shirt to my sponsored child in Egypt?
No, we are sorry. Due to the excessively high customs tariffs imposed by the Egyptian government on all imported items, particularly clothing materials, we are unable to ship a T-Shirt or any other clothing item to Egypt at this time. For example, the customs tax for a single T-shirt is approximately US$44.00 and a pair of pants is quoted at US$56.00
