Youth Advisory Board Member
Alisha is the founder and executive director of Kids First Project, a nonprofit that works to break the generational cycle of poverty by bringing educational and recreational programs to youth experiencing homelessness. She has also spent the past three years serving as the first youth commissioner on Portland’s Human Rights Commission, where she explores intersectionality and drafts policy recommendations related to human rights issues existing within her community.
Alisha admires Plan’s focus on youth empowerment and global equity, which inspired her to join its Youth Advisory Board to work alongside like-minded youth leaders and bring her own passion for human rights to a global scale.
Alisha grew up in Portland, Oregon, and plans to study political science and human rights at Stanford University.
