Help Victims of Typhoon Haiyan
Typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest storms in recorded history, has caused significant damage and widespread devastation across the Philippines.
Over 6,000 people perished due to the storm. More than 1.14 million houses were damaged or destroyed in the storm, and all vital services were affected, including power, water supply, and health services. A year after the storm, there is still work to do. Communities need your help.
By giving today, you can help victims of Typhoon Haiyan by:
- Delivering aid and support to recover and build back better and stronger communities.
- Providing clean drinking water, health services, and education facilities for children and families.
- Ensuring the displaced and homeless have shelter to recover while they rebuild.
Plan International has been working in the Philippines for 52 years in 420 communities, serving more than 80,000 families including 40,000 Plan-sponsored children. Plan has maintained strong relationships in local communities and has gained an in-depth knowledge of the needs faced after a disaster.
Thank you for your generous support.
Your tax-deductible contribution will be used to support victims of Typhoon Haiyan. If the need is filled, we will apply your donation to wherever the need is greatest.
