Build a School in Togo!
Children in Togo, a small West African country, need your help. While they are poor, they want to go to school. They want to learn. But schools are often too far away. The schools are often make-shift shelters that expose children to snakes and harsh weather. And girls quite often aren’t sent to school. They are needed to fetch water or care for their younger siblings.
But you can help! You can build a school in Togo that will bring education to 300 children in Abidjandè, a village in central Togo, and help to change attitudes about the value of educating girls.
Construction of the school building is under way, but more is needed to complete construction, build latrines, dig a well, and hire and train teachers. Please help build a school for the children of Abidjandè and help their community work towards a better future. Your gift of:
- $10 can help purchase teaching materials for the school.
- $25 can purchase a soccer ball for their soccer program at the school.
- $50 can help provide clean water to the school.
- $95 can help build a girls-only bathroom, so they can stay in school.
Thank you for your generosity in helping children.
