David Ehle

Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Advisor

David Ehle is an international development professional with more than seven years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, research and project management. As a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Advisor at Plan International USA (Plan), he supports a diverse portfolio of projects in Latin America and South and Southeast Asia covering health, economic empowerment, education and child protection, while also supporting new business development and organizational strengthening of monitoring and evaluation. Prior to joining Plan, David supported the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)’s response to the Zika epidemic in Latin America, focusing on reproductive, maternal and child health services. 

David holds a M.A. in international development and international economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in philosophy from Boston College. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.

A collection of 230 interviews with girls in India paints a picture of the challenges they are facing and what can be done to ensure they not only survive, but avoid being trafficked and return to school, as COVID-19 dramatically impacts their lives.
