A devastating hunger crisis is affecting millions of vulnerable people in Nigeria, Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia, and neighboring countries. More than 20 million people are facing the threat of starvation and famine. Nearly 1.4 million children are severely malnourished and many will be at the brink of death without immediate help.
If generous people like you help us take immediate action, we can keep the worst from happening.
The Global Emergency Response Coalition
In response to the unprecedented scale and severity of devastating hunger affecting millions of people, a first-of-its-kind U.S. coalition was created. The Global Emergency Response Coalition is a lifesaving humanitarian alliance made up of eight of the world’s largest and most well-respected U.S.-based international aid organizations, including Plan International, Save the Children, CARE, International Medical Corps, International Rescue Committee, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, and World Vision.
Americans are the most generous people in the world: the Global Emergency Response Coalition is urgently calling upon American citizens to help save children and their families from this deadly hunger crisis.
Children’s lives are on the line, and they are counting on your support for lifesaving emergency response efforts, including food, shelter, and protection from harm.
