WASHINGTON – Plan International USA today announced the appointment of Molly Fitzgerald to the International Programs’ Water, Sanitation, and Health practice. Dr. Fitzgerald joins Plan as Senior Program Manager, based in Washington, D.C.
Previously, Dr. Fitzgerald was Program Advisor on the Health Policy Project (HPP) at Palladium. Her areas of technical expertise include:
- HIV/AIDS, working with marginalized/key populations;
- Reproductive health;
- Gender and male engagement; and
- Expertise in research, monitoring, and evaluation.
Prior to joining Palladium, Dr. Fitzgerald was Technical Advisor for the ASTARTE Initiative with JSI Research and Training Institute.

Dr. Fitzgerald has an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Doctor of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
