Sara began working with Plan as a high school student when she helped to build Plan’s Youth United for Global Action and Awareness program which targets high school-aged youth across the United States.
Continuing her leadership within the organization, Sara co-founded Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board and the Plan International Global Youth Advisory Panel, both of which serve as advisory bodies to the senior management team.
Currently, Sara is facilitating a comprehensive online Plan Academy Effective Youth Participation and Engagement in Decision Making course for staff and partners.
Sara holds a bachelor's in biology from Rhode Island College and began medical school in the fall of 2016.
