Betsy Myers is a corporate partner at Verrill Dana LLP. She has extensive experience in corporate, antitrust and health care law, having represented both for-profit and nonprofit corporations, hospitals, physician groups and clinics before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general.
Her additional practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, complex contract negotiations, business tax planning and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Verrill Dana, Betsy was a corporate partner at Hinckley Allen & Snyder LLP. She also served as executive counsel to Rhode Island Gov. Bruce Sundlun.
Betsy has a rating of AV from Martindale-Hubbell, a distinction reserved for attorneys with the highest levels of skill and integrity. Betsy received her bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude, from Kenyon College and was awarded her law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the law review.
