Emily Green

With more than a decade of experience in private and corporate investment banking, Emily Green is dedicated to helping women achieve financial strength and independence.

Emily has been at Ellevest, an investment firm focused on women, for three years, where she heads private wealth management. Emily joined Ellevest in 2017 as the first financial advisor on their private wealth management team.

Emily graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2009. She went on to work for the financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald in London for the following year. After moving back to the U.S., Emily then spent seven years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank as an advisor for high net worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations. It was here that she realized how much investment banking underserves women, so she decided to join others like her — who want to flip the script — at Ellevest.

Emily is also a steering committee member of the Young Patrons Circle at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City.
