Chief People and Culture Officer
Erin Mulanaphy is the Chief People and Culture Officer at Plan International USA, an international humanitarian and development organization that partners with adolescent girls and children around the world to overcome oppression and gender inequality, providing the support and resources that are unique to their needs and the needs of their communities, ensuring they achieve their full potential with dignity, opportunity and safety.
In her role, Erin is responsible for executing the overall human resources strategy, including talent, acquisition, leadership development, culture development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technologies, employee relations and compliance. Erin is the chair of Plan’s HR global national organization coalition and the co-chair of the diversity, equity and inclusion council.
Prior to her current position, Erin was the senior director of human resources at Plan USA for four years. She’s been with the organization since 2011. Before coming to Plan, Erin was the human resources manager at Stanley Black & Decker for eight years and worked at ON Semiconductor for nine years prior to that.
She has her bachelor’s degree in business management from Rhode Island College, and is a graduate of Amex Leadership Academy at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Erin has a son and is an avid Crossfitter, traveler and rescue dog lover.
