Himangini (she/her) is a student at Louisiana State University, majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in aerospace engineering. In high school, she founded Geaux Girls STEM, an initiative aimed at bridging the gender and socioeconomic gap in STEM.

Through Geaux Girls STEM, Himangini has positively impacted the lives of over 112 young students, providing valuable workshops and mentorship. Her efforts have been recognized by local news outlets and she is proud to have been recognized as a Time for Change Youth Challenge Winner.

Himangini joined Plan International USA as a Youth Leadership Academy participant in 2022 and later became a member of the Youth Advisory Board. Currently, she serves as the co-lead for the recruitment subcommittee and as a member of the data analysis subcommittee. Additionally, she has participated in an International Day of the Girl takeover with Vertex Inc.

In her free time, Himangini enjoys LSU sports and reading science fiction.
