Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer Trainor serves as Plan International USA’s chief marketing officer, overseeing marketing, corporate communications, fundraising, philanthropy, donor stewardship and corporate and foundation partnerships. Plan International USA is an international girls’ rights organization that partners with adolescent girls, their families and communities here, and around the world to overcome oppression and gender inequality, providing the support and resources that are unique to their needs and the needs of their communities, ensuring they achieve their full potential with dignity, opportunity and safety.
Prior to this position, Jennifer was the vice president of marketing and fundraising at Plan USA, leading fundraising and the stewardship of Plan’s donors in the mass market segment, as well as the strategies for brand, marketing and supporter engagement, in order to build awareness for Plan and to attract and retain an active, informed supporter base.
Before joining Plan, Jennifer held marketing roles in the financial services industry, at institutions such as Fidelity Investments and Citizens Bank, for more than 15 years.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She has two sons and enjoys concerts, reading, Red Sox baseball and travel.
