Jennifer Trainor is the vice president of marketing and fundraising at Plan International USA, and is currently serving as the interim chief marketing officer, adding oversight of philanthropy and corporate and foundation partnerships to her responsibilities. Plan International USA is an international humanitarian and development organization that partners with adolescent girls and children around the world to overcome oppression and gender inequality, providing the support and resources that are unique to their needs and the needs of their communities, ensuring they achieve their full potential with dignity, opportunity and safety.

In her current role, Jennifer oversees fundraising and the stewardship of Plan’s donors in the mass market segment, as well as the strategies for brand, marketing and supporter engagement, in order to build awareness for Plan and to attract and retain an active supporter base. Prior to this position, Jennifer was the senior director of marketing at Plan USA for seven years.

Before joining Plan, Jennifer held marketing roles in the financial services industry, at institutions such as Fidelity Investments and Citizens Bank, for more than 15 years.

Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She has two sons and enjoys concerts, reading, Red Sox baseball and travel.
