Pear Chotbunwong (she/her)

Youth Advisory Board Member

Standford University

Manyasiri (Pear) Chotbunwong (she/her) is a sophomore at Stanford University studying science, technology & society. At 15, she founded HER (Health. Equity. Respect.), a nonprofit that transforms sugarcane waste into affordable menstrual pads for underserved communities. Her work earned her recognition as a Princess Diana Awardee, Canon Young Champion and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree for Social Impact.

Drawing on her Thai heritage, Pear launched MANYASIRI, a skincare company that upcycles silk waste using traditional wisdom. At Stanford, she was selected for the XFund Ethics Fellowship, joining a group of 16 students annually in exploring values-based entrepreneurship. As one of only two freshmen chosen, Pear stood out for her commitment to ethical leadership.

Passionate about empowering youth, Pear leads entrepreneurship workshops and has spoken at UN Women, Stanford and other universities. On campus, she holds leadership roles in Stanford Student Enterprises, the Office of Student Engagement and Stanford Women in Business. In her free time, Pear enjoys creating vlogs about her Stanford experience on Instagram and Tiktok (@pearychot) and has been featured on Stanford’s Instagram.
