Sandra Cheah

Sandra (she/her) is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania who plans to study environmental, social and governance factors for business. At Penn, she is involved in the Wharton Undergraduate Dean’s Advisory Board and Wharton Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Group, working with administration and other stakeholders to better her school’s undergraduate student body. Sandra is a travel enthusiast and studied abroad in Lisbon, Portugal to further her interests in multilateral institutions and world government.

Sandra joined Plan USA as a Youth Leadership Academy participant back in 2020 and joined the Youth Advisory Board in 2022. She was a member of Plan International’s Global Young Influencer Group and Girls Get Equal Group, for which she co-wrote a petition calling on increased digital literacy, co-created a list of recommendations for leading social media companies to combat online gender-based violence and advised on the annual State of the World Girls Report. She is currently involved in YLA recruitment, social media and mentorship.

Sandra is a Philadelphia Eagles fan and loves cafe hopping with good lattes!
