Sara Moore

Resident Physician, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Sara Moore began working with Plan at age 12, as a member of the Youth United for Global Action and Awareness program, which empowered young people to be active members of the global community.

Continuing her leadership with the organization, Sara co-founded Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board.  She also served four years on the Global Youth Advisory Panel, where she helped develop a strategy for incorporating youth participation into Plan’s global governance structure.

Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rhode Island College and recieved her M.D. and Ph.D. in biomedical sciences at the University of Toledo’s College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She is currently a pediatric resident physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she continues to advocate for the well-being of children.
