EMERGENCY: Protect girls in Sudan now

Armed conflict in Sudan is creating an unthinkable nightmare for girls and their families. Even before this new crisis, Sudan was one of the most dangerous places to be a child. Now, as armed groups take control of the country, girls and their families are caught in between gunfire and airstrikes, terrified, and crying out for help.

On top of hundreds of deaths resulting from the clashes, many more are expected — gunmen are targeting hospitals and leaving children without access to much needed medical assistance. Essential relief, like protection for girls from gender-based violence, is urgently needed now.

Plan International is preparing to scale up a humanitarian response in Sudan and will be supporting displaced girls and their families with lifesaving aid, like food, clean water and health care. Your gift is urgently needed now to help save children who are suffering from this deadly conflict.
