Thailand: Career Development Program for Youth

This project, being funded by Citi Foundation, aims to provide at least 610 marginalized youth, ages 16-25, from three centers in three urban provinces of Thailand, with the skills necessary to increase their employability or start their own businesses. Marginalized youth are being offered vocational trainings that are market-driven and informed by the market scan in various industries including hospitality and food and beverages industries. The vocational education is being made more comprehensive with the inclusion of employability skills trainings that include interpersonal skills, resume writing, computer skills, and entrepreneurial and financial management, while life skills training includes emotion management and relationship-building skills.
