Give a Gift of HopeWhen entire communities understand the dangers of trafficking, they can work together to keep girls, and all children, protected. Your gift will support training on trafficking prevention for community members in Bolivia. You’ll create create safer environments for everyone.
What does it mean to be a man? Too many boys are brought up to believe that treating girls and women as inferior is what they’re supposed to do. But by participating in the Reshaping the Boys’ Club project, boys and young men in Zimbabwe will learn that being a man means seeing girls and women as their equals.
Your gift will create a space for girls at school in Zimbabwe where they can study, socialize and have a safe environment to enjoy their childhoods.
With a smart pump, you can help make sure that the local water source gets fixed faster — which means children won’t have to miss school to collect water. Smart pump devices send the village water committee members a cell phone alert whenever the pump isn’t working. With all of the important information sent to their phones, committee members can act quickly to get clean water flowing again.
It takes one teacher to change a student’s life! Your gift will provide teachers with worksheets, crayons, markers, note cards, paper, tape, notebooks, pencils and pens. They’ll have what they need to help students thrive.
By building a technology center, you’ll give young people in Guatemala a place to learn the skills they need to get good-paying jobs. You’ll provide equipment for employment training, like desktop computers, so that girls can prepare for their careers.
Contaminated water can transmit cholera, dysentery, typhoid and even polio. But with your gift, you’ll help build new clean water systems and prevent the spread of disease in villages in Cambodia. Your gift also improves sanitation in health care facilities, children’s day cares and primary schools in Cambodian communities.
