Jorge

Jorge (he/him) is a second-year nursing and political science double major at Oklahoma City University. At school, he helped charter a service organization and is now a district officer for Circle K International. He is also currently interning for Build Oklahoma, where he helps address voter apathy and energize diverse, low-income communities to be more involved with their civic duties. Jorge hopes to blend his passions for community organizing, politics and medicine with work in public policy to address health care issues across the country. In his free time, he enjoys sewing, crocheting and keeping up with the Kardashians.

Jorge became a member of the Plan International USA Youth Advisory Board in 2019 and has played an integral role in subcommittees for programs like the Youth Leadership Academy. He has moderated conversations with youth activists and mentored passionate young people across the country after connecting through the YLA.
