Princeton University
Rose (she/her) is an undergraduate at Princeton University, where she is studying sociology with a certificate in gender and sexuality studies. Rose’s interests are heavily influenced by her identity as a first-generation, low-income Vietnamese-American student. Specifically, she is interested in educational inequality, mental health and Southeast Asian history. Through Plan USA, she has been able to dive deeper on gender inequality and education issues around the world. On campus, she is involved with two dance companies: BAC and Koko Pops. As a first generation, low-income student, she is passionate about education and health care access.
Rose joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board in 2019. She leads the Youth Leadership Academy grant application review committee and has helped to redesign the YLA application and other informational graphics.
Rose loves dancing, pottery and reading.
