Our work is shaped by local needs and led by local communities. We focus on keeping girls in school, ending child marriage, protecting children from violence, supporting youth employment and responding to humanitarian crises.
The challenges here are real: wars, climate change, economic hardship. Girls’ voices are often pushed aside. We work alongside communities to amplify those voices and create conditions for lasting change.
But supporting girls directly only goes so far — the world around them has to change too. That’s why we work with governments, regional bodies and local partners to shift the laws, policies and attitudes that hold girls back in the first place. Because when the conditions are right, change doesn’t just happen — it lasts.
